Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, Sri Purnendu Singh, learned counsel for Union of India and Sri A.K. Goyal, learned counsel for the State-respondents.
The writ petition has been filed to seek a direction on the respondents for compulsorily vaccinate of all the person with disabilities and even to the caregiver.
Learned Chief Standing Counsel was directed to seek instructions in the matter. He has referred to an order issued by Government on 27th May, 2021 to give priority to the person with disabilities for the vaccination.
In view of the above, the prayer made in the writ petition has been satisfied.
This petition is accordingly, disposed of with a direction to respondents to take immediate steps in furtherance to the circular issue in the month of May, 2021. They would accordingly, make appropriate arrangements for vaccination to the person with disabilities.
