1. Petitioner claims to be victim of a crime. His application for grant of fire arm licence dated 18.01.2018 is stated to be pending before the District Magistrate, Meerut.
2. Without entering into merits of the case, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent no.2 - District Magistrate, Meerut to decide the petitioner's application for grant of fire arm licence, keeping in mind the timelines provided under the Arms Rules, 2016.
