Heard learned counsel for the applicant and learned A.G.A for the State as also perused the record.
This application under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed seeking direction to the court below for early decision of Special Trial No.257 of 2018 (State Vs. Mohan Yadav and another), arising out of Case Crime No. 175 of 2017, under Sections 419, 420, 406, 504, 506, 307 I.P.C. and Section 3(1)Da, Dha of SC/ST Act, Police Station Chauri-Chaura, District Gorakhpur, pending before the learned Special Judge, SC/ST Act, Gorakhpur.
Considering the fact that the trial has remained pending for a long period. Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this application is finally disposed of with a direction to the court below to decide the aforesaid case in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, without granting any unnecessary or long adjournments to either of the parties.
