Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel.
This petition has been filed with the following prayers:-
I. To issue, a writ order or direction, in the nature of mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner promotion on the post of Inspector and to promote him on the said post with all consequential benefits.
II. To issue, a writ order or direction, in the nature of mandamus, directing the respondents to given promotion to the petitioner on the post of Inspector from the date on which the next to the junior was promoted.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that some vital facts have been left from being included in the writ petition and some discrepancies are also there. Therefore, he may be permitted to withdraw this petition with liberty to file fresh.
The petition is accordingly dismissed as withdrawn with liberty aforesaid.
