Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State.
Though various prayers have been made in the petition, learned counsel for the petitioner has pressed prayer (i) only namely this Court may issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondent No.3, Regional Transport Officer, Basti to consider and decide the application /representation of the petitioner dated 21.6.2021 to issue the trade certificate to the petitioners within stipulated time.
The prayer prayed for is not as such which cannot be granted by this Court hence, the same is granted.
This petition shall also be tagged along with the order of this Court and it shall also be considered to be a part of original application / representation.
The respondent no.3 shall, after going through all the documents and after hearing the parties affected by any office order which may be passed pursuant to the application dated 21.6.2021 filed by the present petitioner, decide the same expeditiously not later than 30th October, 2021.
With the aforesaid observations and directions, this petition is disposed of.
It goes without saying that we have not gone into the merits of the dispute.
