Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents.
The grievance of the petitioner is that a restoration application filed against an order in favour of the petitioner in proceedings under Section 38 of the UP Revenue Code, 2006 for correction of papers. This restoration application is stated to be pending consideration since the year 12.11.2018.
Perusal of the order sheet of the proceedings along with the writ petition reveals that the matter has repeatedly being adjourned on account of lawyers being on strike.
In such view of the matter, there appears absolutely no fault on the part of the Court for the case remaining pending.
The writ petition is disposed of with the observation that the court concerned may endeavour to decide the case expeditiously but only if the lawyers refrain from going on strike.
