Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Shri Diwakar Singh for the Gaon Sabha as also learned Standing counsel for the State-respondents.
The petition has been filed seeking the following relief-
"a) To issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus direct the to direct the concern respondent authority (Commissioner Allahabad Division, Allahabad) to decide the revision No.4/2009-2010 computerized No.C2009020000584 (Ram Raj Singh Versus Ambol Singh & Others) under Section 333 The Uttar Pradesh Zamindari Abolition and Land Reforms Act, 1950, within some specific period."
It is stated that a revision filed by the contesting respondent against the order cancelling the allotment made in their favour in proceedings under Section 198(4) of the U.P. Zamindari Abolition and Land Reforms Act is pending consideration since the year 2009.
The petitioner claims to be the complainant at the instant proceedings for cancellation of the allotment were drawn.
Under the circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent no.1, Commissioner Allahabad Division, Allahabad to endeavour to decide the revision of the contesting respondents, expeditiously, preferably within a period of three months from the date a certified copy of this order is filed before him.
