JUDGMENT / ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to register a case, pursuant to the complaint of the petitioner dated 14.06.2017 and conduct investigation.
2. It is the case of the petitioner that she has lodged a complaint to the respondent on 14.06.2017 alleging that on 13.06.2017, one M.Kothandam S/o.Muthukrishnan came to the petitioner's place with deadly weapons and threatened her to vacate the land in S.No.72/2 situated at Arasankazhani Village, Tambaram, Kancheepuram District and hand over the possession to him. Though the said complaint was received vide CSR No.668 of 2017, till date, no action has been taken on the same. Hence, this petition.
3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, who took notice for the respondent.
4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the respondent to hold appropriate enquiry on the petitioner's complaint dated 14.06.2017 and if the allegations made therein disclose commission of cognizable offence, register a case, investigate the same and file a final report or close the same as the case may be, in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of accordingly.
