Petitioners are permitted to implead Joint Director, Madhyamik Shiksha Kanpur Mandal, Kanpur Nagar as respondent no.5 in the array of parties.
Petitioners have retired from the post of Assistant Teacher (L.T. Grade) in the H.N. Inter College, Harijinder Nagar, Kanpur. Their grievance is that though they were promoted on the post of Assistant Teacher in L.T. Grade after receiving approval from the District Inspector of Schools but their pay band has not been correctly computed after taking into consideration the length of their services. In respect of such grievance, petitioners have already approached to the Joint Director of Education concerned but not decision has yet been taken.
In the facts and circumstances of the case, noticed above, this petition stands disposed of, permitting the petitioners to approach the Joint Director Madhyamik Shiksha, Kanpur region, Kanpur i.e. respondent no.2, alongwith certified copy of this order within a period of two weeks from today. Petitioners shall be at liberty to annex all materials in support of their claim. The grievance of the petitioners shall be examined by the authority concerned after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioners within a further period of four months, thereafter. The benefit which is found due and payable, shall be released within a further period of two months thereafter.
