The present contempt application has been filed for willful disobedience of the order dated 5.8.2014 passed in Writ A No. 69946 of 2006. For ready reference, operative portion of the order is reproduced herein below.
"In view of the aforesaid facts and circumstances, I hereby direct the respondent No. 2/Director, Social Welfare, Directorate, U.P. Lucknow to take appropriate decision in pursuance to the letter dated 05.11.2005 (Annexure 9 to the writ petition) preferably within a period of two months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order.
With the aforesaid observations and directions, the writ petition is disposed of.
It is clarified that this Court has not adjudicated the matter on merit. "
A bare perusal of the record in question this much is clearly reflected that so far as the Writ Court's order is concerned, substantial compliance has been made in the matter and the order passed by the opposite party dated 31.10.2014 is on record.
Consequently, the present contempt application stands disposed of. Notice is discharged. However, this order would not preclude the applicant to agitate before the appropriate forum.
