Heard learned counsel for the applicant and learned A.G.A. for the State.
The present application under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed with a prayer to issue an order or direction to the court below/ Ist Addl. Sessions Judge, Court No. 1, Siddharth Nagar to decide the Misc. Criminal Case No. 37 of 2018 (Amarjeet Gautam Vs. State of U.P.) in Case Crime No. 0064 of 2018, under sections 363, 366, 376 IPC and section 3/4 POCSO Act, P.S. Itwa, District Siddaharth Nagar within a stipulated period.
Learned counsel for the applicant submitted that the applicant is juvenile and the aforementioned case is pending since the year 2018. The only prayer made by the applicant is to give direction to the court below to gear up the trial.
Keeping in view that the matter relates to the year 2018, I hereby direct the learned Additional District Judge/POCSO Act to gear up the matter and make necessary endeavour to conclude the trial if possible within two months from the date of production of certified copy of this order without giving unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties.
With the aforesaid directions, this 482 Cr.P.C. application is finally disposed of.
