THESE PETITIONS COMING ON FOR PRELIMINARY HEARING IN ‘B’ GROUP THIS DAY, THE COURT MADE THE FOLLOWING:-
ORDER Sri.S.Nova Bethania, learned counsel for the petitioner.
Smt.Bindu N.Doddahatt, learned counsel for respondent No.1.
In these petitions, the petitioner inter alia seeks for a writ of mandamus directing respondent No.2 to implement the order dated 03.03.2018 issued by the Karnataka State Commission for Protection of Child Rights as annexed in Annexure- A.
2. When the matter was taken up today, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted the petition be disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to file a representation to the competent authority with regard to his grievance and the competent authority be directed to decide the same in accordance with law.
3. In view of the submission made and in the facts of the case, the writ petitions are disposed of with liberty to the petitioner that in case a representation is made by him to the competent authority within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of the certified copy of the order passed today, the same shall be dealt with by the competent authority in accordance with law within a period of four months from the date of receipt of such representation.
4. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case.
Accordingly, the petitions are disposed of.
