This petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is filed by the petitioner with a prayer to direct the District Superintendent of Police, Panchmahals at Godhra to provide police protection to Bakor Group Gram Panchayat, so as to maintain law and order situation in the village while taking actions against the defaulters under section 104 of the Gujarat Panchayats Act, pursuant to the order passed by the Principal Secretary, Panchayats, Urban Housing and Urban Development Department dated 02.11.2010 for removing the ongoing illegal construction on the land bearing survey No.628/1 of village Bakor, on the ground that the representation made to the concerned D.S.P., Panchmahals at Godhra to provide protection has not yielded any result.
At this stage, no such prayer can be granted in exercise of powers under Article 226 of the Constitution of India.
Accordingly, this petition stands disposed of.
