Petitioner was a Collection Amin, who has retired in 2015. His grievance is that retiral benefits due and payable to petitioner have not been released so far. In para 16 of the writ petition, it is alleged that arrears of salary for the period during which petitioner remained under suspension from February, 1988 to February, 1989 alongwith three increments and benefits under ACP scheme etc. have been denied to him without passing any specific order. It is also stated that the full amount of pension payable to petitioner has also not been released. Submission is that various representations made in that regard have not been considered, and therefore, petitioner is before this Court.
Learned Standing Counsel submits that petitioner's grievance shall be examined by the authority competent, in accordance with law, at the first instance.
In the facts and circumstances, this writ petition stands disposed of permitting the petitioner to approach respondent no.2 in respect of his grievance, noticed above, alongwith certified copy of this order, annexing all materials in support of his claim, within a period of two weeks from today. In case such a claim is raised, the same shall be examined by the authority concerned and appropriate order would be passed, in accordance with law, within a further period of four months thereafter.
