Heard learned counsels for the parties.
By means of this contempt application under Section 12 of the Contempt of Courts' Act, violation of the order dated 10.12.2020 passed in Writ - C No. 22315 of 2020 is complained of.
Sri Rohit Verma, learned Standing Counsel submits that he has obtained instruction in the matter in compliance of the order of this Court dated 02.09.2021 and as per the instruction, the application for compensation moved by the applicant has come to be rejected by the order of District Magistrate dated 20.09.2021 and now it is therefore, submitted on behalf of opposite party that the order passed by the writ Court has stood complied with.
Having heard learned counsel for the parties and having perused the record, I find that the writ Court vide its order dated 10.12.2020 passed in Writ - C No. 22315 of 2020 had directed for disposal of the claim of the applicant. Now the claim of applicant has been considered on merits and his application now stands disposed of by the order of District Magistrate who heads the District Level Committee.
In such above view of the matter, therefore, the order passed by writ Court dated 10.12.2020 has stood complied with in its letter and spirit. However, it is still open for the applicant that if he is aggrieved, he can assail the order in appropriate proceeding at appropriate forum.
Subject to the aforesaid liberty, this contempt application is consigned to record.
Notices issued, if any, stand discharged.
