Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Standing Counsel appearing for the State respondents and perused the record.
Present petition has been filed challenging the impugned order dated 20.2.2021 passed by the respondent no. 2 as well as entire proceeding of Case No. D20211429000227 pending before the respondent no. 2.
Admittedly, the petitioner has been provided an opportunity to submit his explanation. The impugned suspension order of arms licence was passed on 20.2.2021. Petition was filed in the month of March, 2021. It is not known as to whether any final order has been passed by the authority concerned or not.
In case final order has not been passed, petitioner may file his reply in response to the order/notice. In case reply is filed by the petitioner within 15 days from today along with self-attested copy of this order, the same shall be considered and decided by the authority concerned on its own merit, preferably within a period of one month from the date of filing of reply.
It is made clear that this Court has not examined the merits of the claim of the petitioner.
With the aforesaid observations/directions, this writ petition stands disposed of. No order as to costs.
