This writ petition has been filed by the petitioners, interalia, for the following relief:
"I. Issue a suitable direction to the respondent no. 3 i.e. Competent Authority, Urban Land Ceiling Prayagraj to mutate the name of the petitioners in the revenue record within the short specified period fixed by this Hon'ble court.".
Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record.
A perusal of the order dated 3.4.2013 passed by this Court in Writ C No. 74859 of 2010 shows that the respondents in the said writ petition were restrained from interfering with the petitioners' possession over the land and were further directed to restore the correct entries of petitioners' name in the revenue record.
Learned counsel for the petitioner stated that despite the specific order passed by this Court, till date the entries of the petitioner in the revenue record has not been restored in compliance of the order of this Court dated 3.4.2013.
Be that as it may, in case the order passed by this Court is not being complied with by the authorities concerned, it is open for the petitioners to take contempt proceedings, if so advised, in accordance with law.
With this observation, this writ petition stands finally disposed of.
