Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel.
This petition challenges an order dated 27 September 2018 pursuant to which the representation made by the petitioner against her transfer from Allahabad to Chitrakoot has come to be rejected.
The Court notes that the authorities have taken the position that the petitioner has remained stationed at Allahabad for the last ten years whereas the transfer policy mandates that a person or an officer is to be transferred on completion of seven years. Additionally the respondents have taken into consideration the fact that out of 27 sanctioned post at Allahabad, 23 were already manned and that there was a serious deficit in district Chitrakoot.
The reasons which have been taken into consideration by the respondents merit no interference by the Court under Article 226 of the Constitution. The writ petition lacks merit and is dismissed.
