This writ petition is filed alleging that the Respondents have failed to take action pursuant to Exts.P4 and P5 complaints. The allegation of the petitioner is that his child was brutally assaulted by the 4th Respondent while he was sitting in the seat of father while driving a car. The petitioner filed his complaint before the Superintendent of Police and also to the 1st Respondent, Child Welfare Committee. 2. The learned Government Pleader, having instruction from the Chairperson of the 1st Respondent Committee over telephone, submits that an enquiry is being conducted by the 1st Respondent Committee and the matter will be finalised after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner within a period of one month.
3. Accordingly, there shall be a direction to the 1st Respondent to finalise the proceedings based on the complaint made by the petitioner, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner.
The writ petition is disposed of as above.
