This Contempt Petition has been filed praying to punish the respondents for their alleged disobedience of the order of this Court made in WP No. 15060 of 2014 dated 11.06.2014.
2. The petitioner has filed the above WP No. 15060 of 2014 challenging the show cause notice for termination dated 17.0-3.2014 issued by the second respondent. Complaining that the said order has not been complied with, the present contempt petition has been filed.
3. Today, WP No. 8147 of 2015 was taken up for hearing by this Court. The said writ petition was filed by the petitioner herein namely Ajitha Gas Agency represented by its Proprietor Mr. Sridhar against the respondents 1 and 3 in this contempt petition. In the said writ petition, the petitioner as well as the respondents have arrived at a consensus to appoint a retired Judge of this Court as Arbitrator so that they can raise the dispute before such Arbitrator for conciliation. Accordingly, this Court, by order dated 30.01.2017 appointed by consent of parties Honourable Mr. Justice G.M. Akbar Ali, a retired Judge of this Court as an Arbitrator. In view of the said order dated 30.01.2017 passed in WP No. 8147 of 2015, no further order is required to be passed in this Contempt Petition. Accordingly, the Contempt Petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, Sub-Application No. 181 of 2015 is closed.
