Contention is that one of the candidates appointed on the post of Assistant Professor (Military Science) had not joined and petitioner since stands at serial no.1 in the waiting list is, therefore, liable to be considered.
Learned Standing Counsel and Sri Gagan Mehta, learned counsel for the respondents states that such issue can be examined by the concerned authority, at the first instance.
In view of the above, this writ petition stands disposed of by permitting the petitioner to represent his grievance before respondent no.3, alongwith a copy of this order, annexing all materials in support of his claim, within two weeks from today. The Director concerned shall examine petitioner's claim and pass appropriate order in accordance with law, within a further period of two months, thereafter.
