Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing counsel.
This writ petition has been filed for issuance of mandamus commanding the (respondent no. 3) Consolidation Officer, Mau to decide the restoration/recall application dated 29.12.1999 pending in Case No. 1002 of 1998 in compliance with the directions passed by the Deputy Director of Consolidation, Mau vide order dated 15.4.2013 within stipulated period.
The contention of learned counsel for the petitioner is that the revisional authority i.e. Deputy Director of Consolidation vide order dated 15.4.2013 allowed the revision and remitted the matter to the Consolidation Officer to decide the recall application dated 29.12.1999 for recalling the original order dated 13.5.1998 but till date the said application has not been decided.
In these circumstances, a direction is issued to the (respondent no. 3) Consolidation Officer, Mau to decide the restoration/recall application dated 29.12.1999 pending in Case No. 1002 of 1998 in compliance with the directions passed by the Deputy Director of Consolidation, Mau vide order dated 15.4.2013 in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible preferable within a period of four months from the date of a production of certified copy of this order.
The writ petition is disposed of.
