ORDER Smt.Farah Fathima, learned counsel for Sri.Mohammed Farooq, learned counsel for the petitioner.
Sri.A.Chandra Chud, learned counsel for respondent No.1.
In this petition, the petitioner inter alia seeks for a direction to the respondents to issue visa to the petitioner through Indian Embassy, Tehran, Republic of Iran by considering the petitioner’s representations dated 24.01.2018 at Annexure-F and the representation dated 29.01.2018 at Annexure-G addressed to the Indian Embassy, Tehran, Iran.
2. When the matter was taken up today, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the writ petition may be disposed of with a direction to the respondents to consider and decide the representations dated 24.01.2018 and 29.01.2018 submitted by the petitioner in accordance with law.
3. In view of the submission made and in the facts of the case, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction that the competent authority shall decide the representations submitted by the petitioner, if not already decided, in accordance with law by a speaking order within a period of four months from the date of receipt of certified copy of the order passed today.
4. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits.
Accordingly, the petition is disposed of.
