JUDGMENT / ORDER

The present criminal original petition has been filed to call for the records in C.C.No.35 of 2016 in Crime No.13 of 2013 pending on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Alandur, Chennai and quash the same.
2. Today, the petitioner along with his counsel on record and the second respondent/ defacto complainant are present. The identities of the parties have been verified. They have submitted that the dispute between them has been amicably settled. They have also filed a joint compromise memo dated 23.06.2017 signed by all the parties to that effect. When this Court enquired the parties, particularly, second respondent / defacto complainant, about the factum of compromise and the terms of the compromise, she admitted the same. She also expressed no objection in quashing the FIR in Crime No.13 of 2013 registered against the petitioner herein.
3. The Joint Compromise Memo dated 23.06.2017 signed by all the parties is taken on record.
4. In view of the above, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed and the FIR in Crime No.13 of 2013 pending on the file of the first respondent is quashed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
