Alavi Haji Thekkil vs State Of Kerala

High Court Of Kerala|08 December, 2014
|

JUDGMENT / ORDER

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for the respondents, apart from perusing the record. Since the issue lies in a narrow compass, this Court proposes to dispose of the writ petition at the admission stage itself. 2. Briefly stated, the petitioner is said to have purchased M.M.A.L.P. School, Cheloor, from the previous Manager. Seeking transfer of ownership and management in the name of the petitioner, the earlier Manager submitted Exhibit P3 application before the second respondent. Complaining of delay in its disposal, the petitioner has approached this Court.
WPC 32788/14 2 In the facts and circumstances, having regard to the respective submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, disposes of the writ petition with a direction to the second respondent to consider Exhibit P3 application in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders thereon, as expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
