Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Ms. Bushra Mariyam, learned counsel appearing for the respondent.
The principal prayer which is addressed on this petition is for a direction being framed for expeditious disposal of the statutory appeal which has been preferred by the petitioner against an order of termination passed by the District and Sessions Judge on 21 December 2020.
Ms. Mariyam on instructions apprises the Court that the aforesaid appeal along with the comments of the concerned District Judge has been received and transmitted to the appropriate Administrative Judge on 15 July 2021. In view of the aforesaid, no cause arises for framing any peremptory directions for disposal of that appeal at this stage.
Consequently, the petition shall stand disposed of with liberty being reserved to the petitioner to approach again in case the matter is inordinately delayed.
