1. The Under Secretary to Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs, FF Division (HC), 1st Floor, Loknayak Bhavan, Khan Market, New Delhi, and others.
RESPONDENTS ORDER:
This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking the following relief – “…. To issue an appropriate writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the 1st respondent in cancelling petitioner pension vide Letter No.112/3655/84-FF(HC), dated 7.04.2010, without following due process of law as illegal, arbitrary, unjust, in gross violation of the principles of natural justice and also in violation of Article 14 and 16 of the Constitution of India and consequently set aside the cancellation Letter No.112/3655/84-FF(HC), dated 7.04.2010, issued by the 1st respondent and restore Petitioner pension granted under SSS Pension Scheme, with all consequential benefits or other wise petitioner will suffer serious loss and great hardship…”
2. A counter affidavit is filed on behalf of Union of India stating that the pension of the petitioner has been restored vide prodeedins dated 25.11.2010.
3. In view of the said development, this writ petition is closed. No order as to costs. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions, if any shall stand closed.
