Heard learned counsel for the parties.
Learned counsel for the petitioner is permitted to correct the array of parties in the body of the writ petition.
The instant writ petition has been filed with the following prayers:
"i. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondents to provide student's answersheet of Mathematics-II paper of U.P. Intermediate Examination 2018 bearing Roll No. 1165721.
ii. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to provide the result of scrutiny to the petitioner of Mathematics-II paper of U.P. Intermediate Examination-2018 bearing Roll No. 1165721 within specific period as may be fixed by this Hon'ble Court."
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner may be provided with the photocopy of the answersheet of Mathematics II paper of U.P. Intermediate Examination-2018. He also submits that the result of the scrutiny may be provided to him.
Learned Standing Counsel does not have any serious objection to the aforesaid prayer.
Learned Standing Counsel submits that the answersheets are weeded out after six months from the date of declaration of the results. The result was declared in the month of April, 2018.
In case, the answersheets have not been weeded out, the said answersheet may be provided to the petitioner within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.
The respondent no 1, Secretary, Board of High School and Intermediate Education, Uttar Pradesh, Allahabad is further directed to decide the application for scrutiny made by the petitioner, in case the same has not been decided. The result of the same shall be communicated to the petitioner within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.
The writ petition is disposed of finally.
