Heard learned counsel for the applicant and learned A.G.A. for the State.
The present application under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed to expedite the proceeding of Complaint Case No. 5302 of 2019 (Akhtar Farooq Vs. Farhan Kausar), Under section 138 N.I. Act, Police Station-Chamanganj, District-Kanpur Nagar pending in the Court of learned Additional Civil Judge, (Jr. Div), Room No. 1, Kanpur Nagar.
Learned counsel for the applicant submitted that the aforementioned case is pending since the year 2019. The only prayer made by the applicant is to give direction to the court below to gear up the trial.
Keeping in view that the matter relates to the year 2019, I hereby direct the learned Additional Civil Judge, (Jr. Div), Room No. 1, Kanpur Nagar to gear up the matter and make necessary endeavour to conclude the trial as expeditiously as possible, if possible within a period of four months without giving unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties.
With the aforesaid directions, this 482 Cr.P.C. application is finally disposed of.
