Heard learned counsel for the petitioner; learned Standing Counsel for the respondents and perused the record.
The present petition has been filed for a direction upon the District Magistrate, Firozabad to grant firearm license to the petitioner within a stipulated period.
It is contended by learned counsel for the petitioner that he has moved an application on 31.03.2018 and 02.04.2018 before the District Magistrate for grant of firearm license but, till date, the same has not been decided.
Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the petition is disposed of with a direction to District Magistrate, Firozabad to decide the application of the petitioner strictly in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of production of certified copy of this order.
It is made clear that the Court has not adjudicated the case on merits.
