Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for State The petitioner has filed an application dated 26.11.2018 for grant of arms license before opposite party no.2 District Magistrate, Ambedkar Nagar, on which a registration number was allotted as No.559, but, the same is pending for consideration before the Licensing Authority/District Magistrate, Ambedkar Nagar.
Learned counsel for petitioner submits that grievance of petitioner would be sufficiently met, in case application for petitioner for grant of arm license is considered and decide by the Licensing Authority/District Magistrate,Ambedkar Nagar in a time bound manner.
Looking into the facts and circumstance and without entering into the merits of the case the Licensing Authority/District Magistrate, Ambedkar Nagar is directed to and decide the aforesaid application of the petitioner, after taking into consideration the rules/guidelines of the year,2016 for grant of arms license, by a reasoned and speaking order, within a period of six months from the date a certified copy of this order is placed before him.
With the aforesaid, present writ petition is disposed of.
