Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents.
Counsel for the petitioner has submitted that petitioner has made complaint against the Pradhan of the village, Raj Bihari Singh, dated 5.9.2017 before the respondent No.3, District Magistrate/Collector, Varanasi. In pursuance of the complaint, inquiry report submitted by the Inquiry Officer on 7.12.2017 before the District Magistrate.
The grievance of the petitioner is that no proceedings have been taken by the District Magistrate on the report of Inquiry Officer.
This writ petition is finally disposed of directing the respondent No. 3 to pass appropriate order on the inquiry report submitted by the Investigating Officer on the complaint made by the petitioner, within a period of two months from the date of production of certified copy of this order by a reasoned and speaking order after hearing the parties in accordance with law.
Learned Standing Counsel will communicate this order to the District Magistrate, Varanasi.
