Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned A.G.A. for the State as also Sri Anurag Singh, Advocate for the concerned opposite party.

The petitioner herein seeks issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari quashing declaration of winning candidate of Village Panchayat Saraiya Baldev Singh, Block Pahla, Tehsil Mahmoodabad, District Sitapur, as also for initiating recounting.

This writ petition is not maintainable for such a relief as the result has already been declared. Remedy is by way of election petition. This writ petition is accordingly dismissed.
