The petitioner is aggrieved by rejection of his application for interim relief by the Deputy Direction of Consolidation, Rampur.
It appears that the petitioner claims on the basis of alleged allotment in his favour. This allotment has not been accepted by the Settlement Officer Consolidation on the ground that the land, which is alleged to be subject matter of allotment in favour of the petitioner, was recorded in the revenue record as 'Reth'.
A revision was filed against the order of the Settlement Officer Consolidation and the application for interim relief, therein, has been rejected. Hence this writ petition.
Under the circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of directing the Deputy Director of Consolidation, Rampur to decide pending revision as expeditiously as possible.
