Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the State-respondents.
By means of this writ petition the petitioner has come up to this Court with the prayer that the name of Late Radha Raman be recorded in the revenue record as Freedom Fighter.
It is claimed that Late Radha Raman was the maternal grandfather of the petitioner and his wife Late Sudha Rani adopted the petitioner as son.
Upon query being made as to under which provision in front of name of Late Radha Raman, Freedom Fighter must be indicated in the revenue record. No such rules have been shown, which require the title of a person to be recorded in the revenue record after his name.
That being the case, no relief can be granted to the petitioner in this writ petition. The writ petition being frivolous in nature, is dismissed.
