HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE P. NAVEEN RAO WRIT PETITION No.17930 OF 2014 ORDER:
The case of the petitioner is that petitioner applied for Passport on 25.10.2012. Police verification was conducted on 29.11.2012. For a long time, there was no response. In the mean time, petitioner was prosecuting his Engineering Course in Chennai in the State of Tamilnadu. In view of the same, fresh application was sought for verification in Chennai. Accordingly, petitioner submitted a fresh application. The Chennai Police have conducted verification and sent the report on 01.04.2014. Thereafter, since there was no further communication, compelling the petitioner to institute this writ petition.
2. On instructions, learned Assistant Solicitor General submitted that there was a miscommunication and ultimately the matter was processed and the Passport is issued bearing No.M0212426 on 16.07.2014.
3. In view of the same, no further orders are required. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, in this writ petition shall stand dismissed.
