JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petition has been filed praying for issuance of a Writ of Certiorari, calling for the records relating to the proceedings of the 1st respondent dated 07.10.2016 and quash the same.
2. Heard Mr.R.N.Amarnath, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.L.P.Shanmuga Sundaram, learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the 1st respondent and Mrs.T.Girija, learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the 2nd respondent, and Mr.R.Manickavel, learned counsel appearing for the respondents 3 to 5.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the 1st respondent would submit that the impugned notice dated 07.10.2016 has been cancelled and the 1st respondent issued summon to the members to convene the meeting, subsequently, the said meeting was also withdrawn by the 1st respondent vide letter dated 14.03.2017. The learned counsel appearing for the respondents 3 to 5 also made a statement that the impugned notice was cancelled by the 1st respondent. Hence the relief sought for in the present Writ Petition has become infructuous.
4. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the respondents, nothing survives for further adjudication in the Writ Petition. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed as having become infructuous and the interim order already granted by this Court is vacated. No costs.
