Ajra vs State

High Court Of Gujarat|28 March, 2012

JUDGMENT / ORDER

(Per : HONOURABLE MR.JUSTICE D.H.WAGHELA) Learned Advocate General appearing for the State submitted that pursuant to previous order dated 26/4/2011, due deliberations are carried on by the State Government. However, no formula or solution could as yet be worked out so as to satisfy all sections of the Police Force. Learned Senior Advocate Mr. Oza expressed serious grievance about the time being taken by the State Government and submitted that even after the Appeals being partly heard and sufficient time having been given to the State Government, the appellants were not getting any relief. Therefore, the State Government was required to clarify its stand at the earliest and if no solution can be worked out by general consensus, the Appeals are required to be heard and decided. Learned Advocate General having made the statement that so far as may be formula or policy of the Government would be formulated and communicated to learned Counsel for the appellants within a fortnight, and in case of no agreement on the proposal of the State Government the Appeals are to be argued on the next date of hearing, S. O. to 24th April, 2012.
