JUDGMENT / ORDER

The relief sought for in this writ petition is for a direction to the respondents to sanction incentive increment to M.Phil., degree with effect from 2011, based on the representation submitted by the writ petitioner dated 06.01.2017.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner states that the writ petitioner joined as P.G.Assistant (Chemistry) in Wesley Higher Secondary School and he acquired the qualification of M.Phil (Sociology) from Dravidian University, Kuppam, Andra Pradesh, in the year 2010. In this regard, the writ petitioner submitted a representation dated 06.01.2017 to the fifth respondent, seeking incentive increment for the additional qualification acquired by him.
3.Thus, without going into the merits of the case, the fifth respondent is directed to consider the representation submitted by the writ petitioner dated 06.01.2017 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4.Accordingly,the writ petition stands disposed of. However, there is no order as to costs.
