JUDGMENT / ORDER

Court No. - 29
Case :- WRIT - C No. - 11924 of 2018 Petitioner :- Ajmat Ali Respondent :- State Of U.P And 4 Ors. Counsel for Petitioner :- Mohammad Waseem Counsel for Respondent :- C.S.C.
Hon'ble Govind Mathur,J. Hon'ble Jayant Banerji,J.
Heard Sri Mohammad Waseem, learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents and perused the record.
The petitioner preferred an application before the Authority designated to have license for a meat shop as per provisions of Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006 and the regulations framed therein, but that has yet not been considered as the District Magistrate, Bareilly has not granted no objection certificate. Pertinent to mention that such no objection certificate is required under the Regulations of 2011, for grant of license for registration of Food license.
Having considered all facts of the case, we deem it appropriate to dispose of this petition for writ by directing the competent Authority of Zila Panchayat, District- Bareilly to consider and decide the application, submitted by the petitioner for issuance of no objection certificate in accordance with law expeditiously as far as possible within a period of four weeks from the date the petitioner presents a certified copy of this order before him.
With the directions as above, the writ petition stands disposed of.
Order Date :- 25.4.2018 sfa/ (Jayant Banerji,J.) (Govind Mathur,J.)
