The application of the petitioner for grant of temporary permit is pending consideration before the respondent. The limited prayer of the petitioner in the writ petition is for a direction to the respondent to consider the same and pass orders thereon granting the permit. I have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as also the learned Government Pleader on behalf of the respondent. In the facts and circumstances of the case, I dispose the writ petition directing the respondent to consider the application preferred by the petitioner for the grant of temporary permit and, considering the fact that the petitioner is already operating on the same route, grant the said permit subject to compliance with all other statutory requirements.
