The petitioner herein is the second accused in S.C No.530/2014 of the Additional District and Sessions Court (Adhoc)-IV, Kollam. The petitioner hopes to get Government job within a few months, and in such a circumstance he seeks direction for early disposal of the case. No doubt, the request is genuine, because, before getting advice for job, the petitioner will have to get clearance from criminal prosecution. As reported by this Court the learned IV Additional Sessions Judge submitted report that the case now stands posted to 4.11.2014 along with the counter case S.C No.1111/2011, and that the two cases could be disposed of within a period of six months. The learned Sessions Judge also reported that preference will be given to S.C No.530/2014, it being an old case. This report submitted by the learned trial judge is recorded, and the Original Petition is closed with a direction that the case shall be disposed of as expeditiously as possible.
