Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents.
The prayer in this petition is to command the respondents to include village-Bhopatpur Uparhar (Tarapur) in the territory of District Prayagraj by taking it out from District Kaushambi.
For such an exercise, the petitioner may make a representation to the authorities concerned but a direction to the authorities to take a decision on such prayer would not be appropriate as it is a matter of policy as to which area should fall in which district.
In view of the above, we decline to issue any specific direction as has been prayed for, but leave it open to the petitioner to represent its cause.
The petition is disposed off.
