It is stated that petitioner's father was a driver in the PWD Department of the State and was working at Hapur. It is stated that petitioner's father has died in harness on 6.1.2018, whereafter petitioner has moved an application for grant of compassionate appointment on 7.6.2018, which has remained pending. Petitioner has also submitted no objection certificate of other family members. Grievance is that though sufficient time has lapsed, but petitioner's claim for grant of compassionate appointment has not been considered so far, and therefore, petitioner is before this Court.
Learned Standing Counsel submits that petitioner's grievance shall be examined by the authority competent, in accordance with law, at the first instance.
In the facts and circumstances, this writ petition stands disposed of with a direction upon the respondent no.2 to accord consideration to petitioner's claim for grant of compassionate appointment and appropriate order would be passed, in accordance with law, within a period of three months from the date of presentation of certified copy of this order.
