The petitioner is the registered owner of stage carriage bearing registration No.KL-02T-7316 who applied for temporary permit, on the route Eravipuram - Padanayarkulangara in the vacancy of defaulted service bearing No.KL-02Q-2129. The petitioner has approached this Court with a prayer to direct the respondent to grant and issue temporary permit to the petitioner's stage carriage on the aforesaid route in the vacant timings of stage carriage bearing No.KL-02Q- 2129, by considering Ext.P1 application. 2.If vacancy of stage carriage bearing registration No.KL-02Q-2129 is still in existence and if no other person has applied for a temporary permit to operate a stage carriage in that vacancy, there will be a direction to the respondent to issue a temporary permit of four months duration within three weeks from the date of W.P.(C) No. 29750 of 2014 (P) 2 production of a copy of this judgment by passing appropriate orders on Ext.P1. Needless to say, such issuance of temporary permit will be subject to the preferential claim, if any.
Writ petition is disposed of as above.
