This Court while disposing of Public Interest Litigation (PIL) No. 44573 of 2017 filed by the applicant, by order dated 22.9.2017, granted liberty to him to invoke the provisions of Section 133 Cr.
P.C. with an observation that the proceedings would be decided expeditiously.
Counsel for the applicant submitted that the applicant initiated proceedings under Section 133 Cr. P.C. by filing application in November 2017, but the same has not been decided so far.
At this stage, it cannot be said that the proceedings have been inordinately delayed and therefore, this Court is not inclined to proceed in contempt. The contempt application stands disposed of accordingly.
