Heard learned counsels for the parties.
Learned counsel for the petitioner is permitted to implead Secretary, UP. Basic Education Board, Prayagraj as respondent no. 4. The petitioner is also permitted to correct the array of parties in respect of respondent no. 1.
The grievance of the petitioner is that he wrongly filled up his application form in the category of 'Other Backward Class' whereas, it should have been 'Scheduled Caste' and therefore, he wanted necessary correction and in that regard he had already moved an application prior to the cut off date to the District Basic Education Officer, but no heed has been paid to that till date.
Today Sri Deo Dayal, learned counsel appearing for District Basic Education Officer states that the matter in connection with such course have already been referred to Secretary, U.P. Basic Education Board, Prayagraj, the 4th respondent.
Let the matter be examined by the 4th respondent and an appropriate direction/ order may be passed within a period of four weeks from the date of presentation of certified copy of this order.
With the aforesaid observations/ directions, the writ petition stand disposed of.
