A supplementary affidavit has been filed today, which is taken on record.
On 11.02.2019, we had required the learned AGA to seek instructions as regards the status of investigation of Case Crime No. 0396 of 2016, Police Station Cholapur, District Varanasi.
Learned AGA has obtained instructions and has informed the Court that on 31.12.2018 the police has submitted a final report.
In view of the above, no further action is required in this petition. In case, any adverse action is taken by the Court on the police report submitted, the petitioner would be at liberty to take recourse to appropriate legal remedy in the appropriate jurisdiction.
