Heard Ms. Manisha Chaturvedi, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the respondents.
The petitioner has preferred the present writ petition with the prayer to direct the respondent no. 2 to decide his pending representation dated 7.5.2019. A copy of which is appended as Annexure-7 to the writ petition.
It is contented by learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner has applied for Uttar Pradesh Police Department/Constable Civil Police and Constables PAC Direct Recruitment, 2018. The petitioner is an O.B.C. candidate and applied as dependent of freedom fighters as his grand father was a freedom fighter.
The petitioner appeared in the written examination held on 26.10.2018 and was declared successful. Thereafter he was called for physical examination on 7.12.2018. Upon qualifying the physical examination he was called for medical examination vide letter dated 20.4.2019 in which also he was declared medically fit.
It is contended that petitioner was not issued any joining letter in view of the oral objection that certificate number in the aapplication form has been wrongly mentioned. It is contended that certificate number has been wrongly typed due to mistake in the Cybre Cafe. In order to rectify the aforesaid mistake the petitioner has given representation dated 7.5.2019 addressed to respondent no. 2 personally in his office but till date no decision has been taken. Hence this petition.
With the consent of the learned counsel for the parties this writ petition is disposed of finally at the admission stage itself.
In the facts and circumstances of the case and in the interest of justice the petitioner is directed to submit fresh representation ventilating all his grievances, along with a certified copy of this order before the respondent no. 2- The Director General of Police, U.P., D.G.P. Headquarter, Lucknow within a period of ten days from today. In the event such a representation is made, the respondent no. 2 is directed to pass a reasoned speaking order on the said representation within a period of three weeks thereafter.
With the aforesaid observations, this writ petition stands disposed of.
It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on merits of the case and the authority concern shall pass order independently, in accordance with law.
