This writ petition is filed for a mandamus declaring the action of the 3rd respondent in not ratifying the admission of the petitioners into B.Tech (II year) lateral entry ECET-2014 in unfilled seats in the 5th respondent college merely because the petitioners do not belong to State of Telangana as arbitrary and illegal and for a consequential direction to the respondents to ratify the admissions of the petitioners into B. Tech (II year) lateral entry ECET-2014 in unfilled seats in the 5th respondent college.
2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner represents that the subject matter of the present writ petition is squarely covered by the order dated 20-11- 2009 in W.P.No.24581 of 2009 and batch passed by this Court, which is not disputed or denied by the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Higher Education.
Following the aforesaid order and for the reasons alike, this writ petition also stands allowed in terms of the order dated 20-11-2009 in W.P.No.24581 of 2009 and batch. There shall be no order as to costs.
As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
